I’ve started a new interview series called The A-List with Alex Cequea, where I interview social entrepreneurs and innovators from every field who are making the world a better place. I’ll be posting articles about the interviews that I do on a regular basis, and giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to grow a brand new audience, and lessons I’ll learn along the way.
I’m ready to run the marathon on this project, so stick with me, and I’ll show you all the secrets. Some of the areas I’ll be exploring are: how to monetize a YouTube audience, how to grow a subscriber base, how to create interesting interviews, and how to get media exposure and publicity around your project.
In the meantime, check out some of the social entrepreneurs I’ve interviewed so far:
From Professional Poker to Social Entrepreneurship: David Daneshgar talks about going from being one of the top 5 poker players in the world to helping local flower shops all over the country.
Building an Ad Platform that Protects Your Privacy: ShopParity founder Adriana Herrera talks about how she’s getting rid of those creepy ads that follow you around.
Losing Fame and Finding Yourself: After Apollo Poetry found himself with wealth and fame after appearing on MTV’s True Life, he went on to lose it all, only to find true success and stumble onto his own happiness.
How to Market Sustainability: Green Marketing veteran Shel Horowitz talks about how to market green to people who don’t care, and recalls the first (and only) time he got arrested.
How to Keep Your Personal Information Safe Online: Hayley Kaplan, owner of what-is-privacy.com, shares tips and tricks for keeping your identity and information safe online.
If you have any ideas about great social entrepreneurs to interview, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, I’d love to hear your suggestions!
